Give your child the chance to build their creativity and problem-solving skills at the Introductory S.T.E.A.M Program, a 2-month weekend module with themes like Electronics, Mechanics and Hydraulics and Digital game making designed for Ages 9-14, this program is all about the interdisciplinary and hands-on application of S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) in everyday life and to inculcate a sense of curiosity & wonder towards it. 

 

From making their own machines and bots to their own video game, they’ll build it  ALL in this program and you’ll never hear them whine “science is boring” again!

Week 1 : Simple Machines and Motor Magic

 What are the machines that run the world? Learn about simple machines and build your own machines! How do we electrify machines? Learn about electrical circuits and motorize your own machine!

Week 2 : Hello Hydraulics


What is hydraulics and why is it used? Learn about the basics of hydraulics and build hydraulic systems!

Week 3 : Real Life Hydraulics

Where is hydraulics used in real life? Build a working hydraulic crane and hydraulic jack!

Week 4 : Journaling and Presentation


 Reflect on & record the learning using the Accordion Journal and present it to your peers and parents.

Week 5 : Build a Bot


How can electricity be used in real life? Build a working bot, and motorize it with your own circuits!

Week 6 : Breadboard Basics


What are breadboards and why are they used? Learn how to read breadboards and build series & parallel circuits

Week 7 : Using Resistors , Trippy Transistors


What are resistors and why are they used? Make your own battery indicator using resistors! What are transistors and how do they work? Learn what transistors are and use them to build a touch-enabled light!

Week 8 : Journaling and Presentation


 Reflect on & record the learning using the Accordion Journal and present it to your peers and parents.

Week 9 : Amazing Algorithims


What are algorithms and where are they used? Learn about algorithms and make your own algorithms!

Week 10 : Fun With SCRATCH


How do use algorithms to code? Learn about the SCRATCH software and its interface!

Week 11 : Build Your Own Game


What makes a game a game? Learn about game mechanics and use SCRATCH to make your own tiny game!

Week 12 : Journaling and Presentation
