Digital Game Making with SCRATCH Programming

This introductory camp gets children to explore the world of digital game making. Children will learn the basics of algorithmic thinking, how to use a drag-and-drop programming software, and how to design and build their own android/computer game. This is the one-stop camp where digital technology, programming, creativity and problem solving come together to make an awesome learning experience for children. Day 1 : Algorithmic Thinking and Programming

Activities
Learners get introduced to game design, game mechanics and game development. They learn the SCRATCH software interface.

Day 2 : Design Your Game

Activities
Learners use algorithmic thinking in order to to design simple games and execute simple game functions in Scratch.

Activities
Learners design a game that can solve a real world problem, and develop the game using Scratch.
